Tucker Frye

Coach

Tucker was born in Bend, Oregon but moved with his family to Spokane as an infant. He participated in a foreign exchange program and went to school in Japan for three months, prior to graduating from Rogers High School. Tucker continues to learn the Japanese language and worked at Edo in the Northtown Mall for three years.

Tucker has been doing acrobatics for two years and likes to run around and do flips off of random obstacles (parkour/free-run). He has been a break dancer for five years and practices 10-15 hours per week. Tucker is an integral part of "Tangledroots" dance crew and has taken part in several national competitions.

Tucker caught the attention of several coaches at Spokane Elite Gymnastics while practicing at Open Gym and was enthusiastic when offered the opportunity to coach. Since then he has immersed himself in the sport of gymnastics, learning everything from how to capture the attention of preschoolers to spotting techniques. Tucker's charismatic personality makes him a popular coach of preschool and beginning level boys and girls. He is currently training to coach higher level gymnastics and is a huge asset to the Spokane Elite Gymnastics team.
