Nadine moved to the Spokane area in April of 2006 and started with Spokane Elite Gymnastics in February 2007. She originally is from Oregon and has over 12 years gymnastics coaching experience ages 3 – 18+. In both November 2009 and November 2011 Nadine attended “Boot Camp” at Jeff Metzer's “Kids First” Gym in Cincinnati. She has completed Levels 1&2 of the “Business Management Success Course” through “3rd Level Consulting and Business Brokerage” which focused on Gymnastics Programs. Each year Nadine attends Region 2 Congress. She regularly trains with premier coaches throughout the US, shadowing them with their practices, and learning everything she can about gymnastics progressions. In 2011, Nadine attended the “Future Stars” Competition and Men's National Workshop at the US Olympic Training Center, in Colorado Springs and had the opportunity to work with the best coaches, judges and gymnasts in the world.
Nadine worked in Real Estate for over six years and was a property manager in addition to licensed Oregon Real Estate Broker. She is 1st Aid and CPR certified and successfully completed a comprehensive, 6-month EMT-B program in Oregon. In March of 2006 Nadine achieved a life-long goal by earning her bachelors degree in Business Administration. She served on Joseph City Council for over two years and volunteered with the American Red Cross, Wallowa County Rotary, Wallowa County Search and Rescue, and SMART (Start Making A Reader Today) elementary literacy program.
Nadine plans on living in Spokane indefinitely and enjoys kayaking, camping, fishing, horsepack trips, skiing, cooking, literature, travel and of course gymnastics!
In July of 2010 Nadine bought Spokane Elite Gymnastics from John Sweeney, the owner of Seattle Gymnastics Academy, Inc. and changed the name to “Spokane Gymnastics.” She is excited about the opportunity of continuing to offer a gymnastics program that has something for everyone, from preschoolers to recreational and competitive gymnasts.
