Many of our classes are already full therefore are not listed. Following are the classes that we have space in as of May 8, 2012.  Please call to confirm availability and register.  If the class you are already registered in is not on the following list it simply means that class is full so don't despair if you do not see it listed :)  If you have any questions please call 533-9646.

 

PE for Tiny Tots – 1 hour                    18 – 36 months
In our PE for Tiny Tots class, one coach leads while parents interact with their children and teach them development skills utilizing all our equipment.  An obstacle course is set up and toddlers learn very basic gymnastics skills, including rolls, jumps and balance.  This introduction to gymnastics focuses on improvement of fine and gross motor skills and ability to follow directions in a fun environment with songs and games.

Preschool Gymnastics (Co-Ed) – 50 minutes        3 – 5 years old
Preschoolers learn fundamental gymnastics skills in a fun, fast-paced class.  During this age, the young children become gradually more and more aware of their bodies and learn to control their movements.  These classes focus on the accumulation of skills, the social skills necessary to work in a group, and also the ability to string skills together, mentally and physically.  Parents are not out on the floor with their children but watch from our viewing area.

Levels 1 &2 (Boys, Girls or Co-Ed Classes) – 1 hour    5 – 12 years old
An introduction to progressive gymnastics with a focus on Tumbling, Vault, Uneven Bars and Balance Beam for girls and Parallel Bars, High Bar, Vault, Floor, Pommel Horse and Rings for boys with a fusion of all events for Co-Ed Classes.

Levels 2 &3 (Boys, Girls or Co-Ed Classes) – 1 hour    7 – 14 years old
An advancement from beginning gymnastics for students progressing into intermediate skills and focusing on perfecting introductory skills.  Gymnasts will learn more challenging elements and start learning to memorize and string together several skills for routines.

Levels 3&4+ (Boys or Girls Classes) – 2 hours        7 – 14 years old
An intermediate to advanced level class where gymnasts learn handsprings and flips on the floor, handsprings over the vault and specialized skills on all events.

Tumbling – 1 hour                        7 – 16 years old
A class with an emphasis on floor, vault and Tumbl Trak skills.  Perfect for gymnasts interested in cheer!

Parkour - 1 hour                        10 – 18 years old
Parkour is the physical discipline of training to overcome any obstacle within one's path by adapting one's movements to the environment. It is a non-competitive, physical discipline of French origin in which participants run along a route, attempting to negotiate obstacles in the most efficient way possible. Parkour is often referred to as "urban gymnastics".

Advanced Parkour Team – 1 hour                 10 – 18 years old

Adult Gymnastics – 1 hour                    16 and better
A perfect opportunity for "wannabees" and "has-beens" to enjoy the fitness benefits and have fun with gymnastics!  This class includes instruction and “spotting” on all events (Women: Vault, Beam, Bars, Floor; Men: Floor, Vault, High Bar, Parallel Bars, Rings and Pommel Horse) plus independent practice.  Wednesday 7:30pm with Coach Tucker

Dance – 1 hour                        8 – 16 years old
A basic introduction to break dance and hip hop, this class includes simple top rock, floor work and power moving; including back-spins, hand-spins and more!  Perfect for all ages and abilities with a focus on rhythm during this fun and physical work-out.

13 WEEK SESSION
Preschool 50 minutes/week - $155.00
1 hour/week - $170.00
1.5 hours/week - $225.00
2 hours/week - $275.00

10% discount given for multiple family members enrolled in class.  Annual membership fee of $30.00 per individual or $45.00 per family is good for one year from the date of enrollment.

All of our classes run year-round. We have three 13-week sessions (Fall, Winter, and Spring) and one 8-week Summer Session that roughly parallel the Spokane District 81 school schedules. Students may start at any time and pay only pro-rata charges for the session.  Tuition is due on or before the first class of each session, and a $50.00 deposit is required to save a spot in each class, with the balance due prior to the first day of class.  The  $50.00 credit will be held in the student's account if un-enrolled prior to two weeks before first class and may be used for any services or apparel at Spokane Gymnastics.  A fee of $25.00 will be charged if less than two weeks notice is given for dropping a class.  The $50.00 deposit is required to register for a class even if family is enrolled in Auto-Pay.  We do offer monthly payments through our “Auto-Pay” system; where we process three payments to a Visa or Mastercard at the beginning of the month.  Payments accepted include: check (made payable to: Spokane Gymnastics); cash; VISA or MasterCard.

Spokane Gymnastics does not offer refunds for any reason.  Credits may be granted on an individual basis at the sole discretion of Spokane Gymnastics management.
