Seth Firestone

Originally from Kennewick, Washington, Seth did gymnastics at Mid-Columbia Gymnastics for 9 years. He started competing as a level 4 and rose to become a level 10 (the highest possible level). His favorite events are rings and vault.
Seth moved to Spokane in 2007 and enrolled in the Fire Science program at Spokane Community College where he earned his degree in Spring of 2009. Part of the resident firefighter program at Spokane County Fire District 8 since 2007, he hopes to become a full-time firefighter in the near future.
Since beginning coaching at Spokane Elite Gymnastics in Fall 2009, Seth has assisted the USAG Boys Junior Olympic Team although he likes to work with all levels and age groups. He enjoys teaching all skills, from fundamentals such as cartwheels all the way up to tougher elements such as flipping. Seth's coaching style is visual and he likes to explain each skill in depth.
When he is not in the gym Seth likes to snowboard.
